USA Tourist & Business Visa Checklist B1/B2

(Applicable for Bangladeshi Applicants)

Common Required Documents (For All Applicants)

  1. Current passport- valid for at least 6 month with 2 blank pages along with all previous passports

  2. Two recent photos with white background, lab print, must printed on matt paper (Size 2x2inch)
  3. NID for adults (both side) and Birth Registration Certificate for children and infants
  4. Family details information: Full name, date & place of birth, nationality of parents, spouse, and children
  5. Educational history of applicants including Institution name, address, subject, year of completion
  6. All previous Travel history- Including Name of the country and entry exit date of the country.
  7. Latest Personal bank statement with solvency certificate for 6 month with regular transactions.
  8. Additional financial documents such as DPS, FDR, credit card copy, holding tax receipt, etc.
  9. Asset documents for asset valuation (if any) - land/flat/building ownership
  10. Marriage certificate (for married person)
  11. Copy of E-TIN Certificate
  12. Income Tax Returns for the last 3 years (if available)
  13. DS-160 Confirmation Page (generated during online application
  14. Appointment Confirmation Letter
  15. Notarized and translated copies are required for all Bangla documents.

Additional Documents for Tourist Visa (B2)

  • Personal travel plan (sightseeing, visiting relatives or friends)

  • Confirmation copies for hotel booking/reservation (if not invited)
  • Travel insurance (recommended)
  • If invited by someone:
    • An invitation letter
    • Inviter’s copy of US passport/visa/green card
    • Proof of relationship with the inviter (if applicable)
    • Proof of Accommodation in USA (home address, email, contact number)

Additional Documents for Business Visa (B1)

  1. Official Invitation Letter from the USA company or organization (must include inviter’s contact number, purpose of visit, dates, expense responsibility, day by day itinerary)

  2. Business Relationship Evidence:
    • Previous communications (invoices, email conversations, contracts)
    • Proof of minutes of the meeting
    • Contracts or MOU (if any)
  3. Applicant’s Company Profile / Brochure / Website link (if available)
  4. Justification letter from Bangladeshi company (on letterhead)
  5. Company Documents:
    • Updated trade license with Notary & Translation
    • Certificate of incorporation and updated Memorandum of Articles (shareholder pages)
    • Company BIN Certificate, TIN Certificate and VAT certificate, (if available)
    • Last 6 months Business Bank Statement with solvency certificate
    • Tax returns of the company for last 3 years
    • Two/three company letterheads (blank)

For Business Owners:

  • Updated trade license with Notary & Translation

  • Visiting card and company profile

For Employees:

  • No objection certificate (NOC)

  • A Copy of Office ID card (both side)
  • Salary slips or certificate
  • Salary account statement for the last 6 months

For Students:

  • A copy of Student ID card

  • NOC / leave letter from the institution

For Retired Applicants:

Processing Time:

Approx. 15–20 working days (including DS-160 submission, visa fee payment, scheduling)

Visa Fees & Service Charges:

  • Service Charge: BDT. 10,000 per applicant (if needed - Notary, translation and Asset Valuation charges are additional)

  • Embassy Fee: USD 185 (will be charged in BDT as per the embassy conversion rate)

* Ques: How many countries should I visit before applying for this country?

Ans: Although there is no restrictions regarding country visits but we recommend you to at least visit 3-4 countries before applying.

 

* Ques: How much balance should I have in my bank account?

Ans: There is no minimum or maximum limit for bank balance. However, there should be a consistency of you transactions. Your bank account must reflect that you have the ability to bear your travel cost and you have enough financial ties to return back to your country.

 

* Ques: My education qualification is low, can I apply for visa?

Ans: In case of tourist visas, there is not education qualification requirement. Anyone with any educational qualification may apply.

 

* Ques: My visa application has recently been refused. When will I be able to apply again?

Ans: There is no restriction or time limit on reapplication if anyone’s visa has been refused. However, we would recommend you to apply again at least after a certain period of time.

 

* Ques: Can you arrange invitation for me? Will it be beneficial for me if I get an invitation?

Ans: Not mandatory and we cannot arrange invitation for you. Invitation is only beneficial for an applicant, if it has been sent from his or her family members or close friend. In any other cases, having a hotel booking is enough to prove your accommodation arrangement during your stay in that respective country.

 

* Ques: If I apply along with my family, will the chances of my visa acceptance increase?

Ans: Although visa acceptance or refusal totally depends on applicant’s profile, applying with family may increase your chances in certain countries. For example: in case of Schengen or UK visa, applying along with family increases your visa acceptance chances. On the other hand, applying with family for Australia or Canada may decrease your chance of getting the visa.

 

* Ques: Do you provide any guaranty for visa?

Ans: No. We do not provide any guaranty for visa. Acceptance or refusal of any visa application will depend on applicant’s profile. However, we will prepare your file in a professional manner so that the embassy can get a clear reflection of your profile.

 

* Ques: Are Embassy visa fee and service charge refundable?

Ans: No. Both are non- refundable.
