Center Bhutan Tour Itinerary:

Day 01 | Arrival – Transfer to Thimphu

Arrival: Arrive in Bhutan, most likely at Paro International Airport.

Transfer: After immigration and customs, you'll be transferred to Thimphu, the capital city.

Activities: Depending on your arrival time, you might have some time to explore Thimphu's local markets or visit some nearby sites.

Day 02 | Drive to Punakha

Travel: Drive from Thimphu to Punakha. The drive typically takes around 2.5 to 3 hours.

Sightseeing: On the way, you might stop at Dochula Pass, which offers stunning views of the Himalayas. In Punakha, you can visit the Punakha Dzong, one of the most beautiful and significant dzongs in Bhutan.

Day 03 | Head to Phobjikha and return to Punakha

Travel: Drive to the Phobjikha Valley, also known as Gangtey Valley. It’s about 2-3 hours from Punakha.

Sightseeing: Explore the serene Phobjikha Valley, home to the endangered black-necked cranes during winter. Visit Gangtey Monastery.

Return: After your visit, drive back to Punakha.

Day 04 | Return to Capital Thimphu

Travel: Drive back to Thimphu from Punakha.

Activities: You may visit more sites in Thimphu or enjoy some leisure time in the city.

Day 05 | Capital Sightseeing – Drive to Paro

Sightseeing: Spend the day exploring Thimphu. Possible visits include the National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma, and Tashichho Dzong.

Travel: In the afternoon or evening, drive back to Paro, about a 1-hour drive.

Day 06 | Taktshang Monastery Hike

Hike: Undertake the hike to Taktshang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest), one of Bhutan’s most iconic sites. The hike is challenging but rewarding, with stunning views along the way.

Return: After the hike, return to Paro and relax.

Day 07 | Departure

Transfer: Depending on your flight time, you may have a bit of time for last-minute shopping or a short visit to a nearby site.

Departure: Transfer to Paro International Airport for your departure.
